The last year's conference saw the unprecedented attendance figures - 434 specialists representing insurance, reinsurance, broker and auditing firms, government authorities and media from 19 nations - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Byelorussia, Czech Republic, France, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Moldova, North Korea, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

The Conference aimed not just to outline the challenges, which the reinsurance profession faced throughout the last year and during the ten previous years of development of the reinsurance market, but, more important, find the ways to meet them and, in particular, discuss the prospects for cooperation with reinsurers from the near and far abroad.

Like a year ago, during the jubilee professional event awards were given to the people recognized for their most noticeable and significant contributions in the development of the professional practice and, therefore, in the progress of reinsurance in Russia.
